Rayce started his preceptorship at St. Francis on Monday. 7am-7pm (actually it was 7am-8pm). Needless to say, he was pretty tired at the end of the day! He was off today, so we went to the AT&T store and he finally got his iphone!! He was beyond excited. He has been playing around with it all day. I have been trying to get him to unpack a little and organize his things.....not exactly happening at the pace I would like it to, but at least it is getting done (slooooowly). Living with the parents isn't too bad at all......Yay! We will start looking at houses in a couple of weeks.
I am going to Las Vegas Saturday-Tuesday for a trade show for work.....I am getting back into the swing of things around here and will have to get used to the travel again! I am most excited about the great restaurants my brother always picks for us to eat while we are there! haha. I will work hard too though.
We are also moving into another office building and warehouse space (after almost 20 years in our old building). It is going to be a big move. The place is HUGE, but we need the space. Best of all, I get to help with the interior decor (wall paint, carpet, cubicles, kitchen cabinets, tile, etc.). And my office has an awesome exposed brick wall that I am pumped about!! :)
Next week (the day after I get back from Vegas) I get to go to Dallas with my sis-in-law Amy, Bailey, Reagan (nieces), and my mom to go to the American Girl Place at the Galleria. I think I am more excited than my nieces! Haha. Bailey has a doll to take, and I am going to let Reagan take one of my American Girl dolls that I had when I was younger (my mom and I finally went through the attic and found them!) We got reservations at the American Girl Bistro for lunch on Thursday! Yahoo!! I will make sure to post pictures after the trip! :)
The Britney concert in Atlanta was awesome and I had such a great weekend with Brooke. We basically ate, talked nonstop, and listened to great music (and did a little shopping of course--including bridesmaid dresses for her upcoming November wedding!!!) I already miss her! We went to another concert on Saturday night, but this time it was an AWESOME band called Yacht Rock who cover soft rock 70's and 80's music. They covered Hall and Oates and Michael McDonald just to name a couple. They also dressed up like they were living in the 70's. It was beyond hilarious. And they were all actually talented.....My fave was the guy who played sax AND the ELECTRIC CLARINET. Look them up on YouTube sometime......
Lots of big things going on right now! I will fill you in on more a little later.
